Muppet*Vision 3D Living on in VR

I said it a couple of years ago, but I agree here that they should take defunct attractions (especially the video based Circle Vision 360 ones) and make them live on in the VR format. Tried reaching out to the Disney Archives and Imagineering to see if they would entertain the thought/idea but never heard back. Hopefully they got the hint and will do this with more things like they are doing with Muppet*Vision.

I'm loving the concept. Imagine that you could re-create any attraction, current or past, with a VR headset. However, I'm not about to spend the $$$$ that the Apple headset costs!!!

I agree, though if the option is to be able to see it in VR or not at all, which is the case with defunct attractions, then I will take the VR - or at least solid, comprehensive, archival video.

Some of the older rides (not too old since VR wasn't around) are on VR. I've been meaning to see if the Great Movie Ride is on VR). They aren't done by Disney but private people on YouTube. I do agree that they should do this. My son really wanted to see Stitches Great Escape when he was little. I didn't realize how much of a priority it was for him and we didn't see it. I promised we'd go next time , not realizing that it was closing. It's been over 10 years and he still brigs it up. That one would work in VR.
