I was more a fan of The Muppet Show in my youth, so the answer eludes me...was Kermit the Frog a regular on Sesame Street. I seem to recall he played a reporter of some kind on Sesame Street but was he considered a regular cast member?

Did any other Muppets appear on Sesame Street (like Fozzie, Rolf, Miss Piggy, Gonzo)?

Aside from big Bird, can you remember any Sesame Street characters appearing on The Muppet Show?

Very important stuff here...need to know kind of stuff!

If I remember correctly, Kermit was a Sesame Street regular. The Muppet Show was his "spin off series."

Umm I'll get my copy of sesame street unpaved out later to look. I'm not sure... but do you know the color of elmo's mouth is the same color as zoe and the color of her mouth is the same as elmo?

Kermit was, and still is, a regular on Sesame Street. However, he gets very little screen time!

Hmmm, maybe that's why they are such good friends. Did you know that the little blue guy that Grover waits on in the restaurant is named Fat Blue?:rotfl: Tremendously un-PC for Sesame Street!

I always liked the noo-nee-noo-nee-noo Typewrite guy and of course the GUY at the piano who always forgets the ABC song.

Ooohhhhhh, and what about Guy Smiley? He's the best! And those Mah Nah Nah Nah guys a close second.;)

I always wished he was on more when I was a kid. He did those Flash News reports or something like that...I remember one with him interviewing Little Bo Peep....I remember it so well because of all of those cute little Muppet sheep!:)

YES! That's what I remember. Him in a little trenchcoat and a hat, reporting or interviewing. But I can't find and cast photos that have him in it. I guess he isn't a main character. But a regular still.

Think Oscar, Bert and Ernie were on Muppets too. Will have to play the DVD to be sure though.

I'd vote for the guy falling down the stairs...
"10 chocolate cakes..." followed by crash, bang, mess. :thumbsup2

Bert & Ernie appeared on the First Season 2nd Episode of the Muppet Show. I know Kermit has been on many different times on Sesame Street, but I don't think any of his Muppet pals have.

That's hilarious! I LOVE Sesame Street! Not the new episodes, VINTAGE episodes from back in the mid-1970's.

"Kermit the Frog here, from Sesame Street News." :rotfl:

I also like the pink and blue space alien things that would go "Yep. Yep. Yep yep yep yep. Uh HUH, uh HUH, yep."

But I was never much of a Muppet Show fan so I don't know about crossover appearances.

I could be wrong but I think Ms. Piggy has

Sesame Street appeared in my later childhood years, but I remember one Saturday afternoon, my mom, dad, brother, & I all sat & watched it, and laughed and laughed.

Regulars in those days from what I remember were Kermit, Miss Piggy, Bert & Ernie, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, & Oscar the Grouch, Grover, as well as Bob, and a couple of other adults, a storekeeper, I think, and other "monsters"
