Muppet mobile lab

Has the Muppet Mobile Lab been roaming around lately? I heard they had a big problem with it and it went backstage for a long time. Does anyone think it'll be back by August?

I didn't see it last week, although I wasn't in DCA as much as I wanted to be.

When the Muppets Mobile Lab was in DCA, it was only intended as a few day test period and the 'lab' was never intended to stay around the Disneyland Resort for any further testing at that time, according to Disney.

After the few days of test, the Muppets Mobile Lab was shipped back to WDI in Glendale and an Imagineering blog has confirmed the 'Lab' was performing at WDI for Imagineers and their Guests during a WDI open house event a few months ago.

But WDI's 'living character initiative' is continuing and on-going, with different ideas and different characters... and eventually more and more 'characters' like Lucky the Dinosaur, PUSH the Trashcan, the Muppets Mobile Lab and the Mr. Potatohead animatronic that is eventually going to be part of Midway Mania at DCA, are all part of the initiative....

I can't wait to see what's next!
