Mummy Refurb?

I saw a twitter post that Mummy is closed for a refurb on May 15th. Its not on the official Universal website.

Curious if anyone else heard it, and how long the refurb would be.

I don’t think they’ve announced a time scale though........

I’m glad I could help. I definitely don’t want Orlando’s Mummy to be down when I’m there in early June!!!

Please keep us posted. I arrive on June 4th & definitely want to ride Mummy! The last time I was at USO the Mummy hadn’t opened yet.

I have been hearing reports on Facebook that they have started some refurbishments on the Mummy in Orlando also, but that it hasn’t closed the ride yet. Mostly fascade work, so far...

I did hear something about Universal relocating the lockers outside Mummy. Hopefully that’s finished by the time I arrive.

They are moving the lockers from outside to the inside extended queue area, so there is work being done on the main entrance. I think the entrance was moved temporarily.

Yep, there were photos online of the fascade covering the main entrance.........
