September 27th (part 2): My two favorite things ever

FEELS EVERYWHERE.

After I died and went to heaven, we got a spot for the best parade of all time on Main Street.

The lighting during the party is just INCREDIBLE.

Pretty soon the headless horsemen came down Main St. My pictures of him always turn out like total crap!

And soon after…

Sadly, my ISO—mum doesn’t know what that is for the life of her—for this picture was WAY too high. It would’ve come out so great. Oh well.

September 27th (part 3): That one time that I ran into my twin (no, not the one from NY)

Here are some more pictures from the parade.

Pain and Panic were there!

CANDY CA CA CA CA CANDY!

Right before Goofy’s float, we ran down Main Street to get in line for Mickey and Minnie.

They were perfect.

Then we headed to Tomorrowland and we went over to the Monsters dance party and I SAW BOO. When I say I sprinted over to her, I mean I sprinted over to her.

And then she ran to moi and was SO excited. It literally made my night.

The party was almost over so we got some candy and they were giving out so much. GIMMEE.

Then we headed to the Plaza and got some ice cream. I needed mine in a cup.

And OH MY GOD they were playing the Oogie Boogie song and like the entire TNBC score while we were sitting there and it was so perfect.

It was already after midnight, so it was time to leave MNSSHP. I WAS SO SAD.

Bye my love.

My legs were KILLING moi and we had to stand forever to wait for the ferryboat. The monorail was just as packed.

Once we got to the TTC, the lines for the tram were horrendous and I am sorry, but the limit for a row is five people.

NOT SIX YOU BUNCH OF IDIOTS.

We got home at about two.

And then we were up bright and early the next day.

IT WAS FOOD AND WINE—but mostly food—TIME! HOLLAH!​

September 28th (part 1): FINALLY FOOD AND WINE TIME!!

IT WAS TIME!!!! FOOD AND WINE!!! WE WERE FINALLY GOING!!! #localperks

Except there were too many locals there…

The parking lot was PACKED. Doesn’t surprise moi though. Opening weekend and all…

Blue monorail welcomed us.

We picked up a guide map before we moved on. I have way too many of these.

And an F&W gift card! These things are dangerous.

Forget the food, I NEEDED TO GO HERE.

I was going NUTS. I had never been in Wonders of Life before but of course, I know everything about it and have done my research cause Epcot Center >>>

So yeah. My shorts were soaked from the amount of pee that was coming out of moi. I am serious. I WAS SO EXCITED.

PEEING.

I could barely breathe when I stepped foot into WoL. Like, I WAS ACTUALLY IN THERE.

First stop though: merchandise.

Twin, I hope you are sitting down.

Chef Duffy. I can’t.

They had a whole Ghirardelli section including free chocolate and coupons. HEAVEN.

And they had these candy sculptures. They were SO cool and were all made by chefs at Disney!

We headed out of WoL because at that point, I couldn’t breathe.

So we went to get FOOD.

Like, obsessed with Disney flowers.

We HAD to check out the cranberry bog. So awesome.

IT WAS TIME!

First booth: Hawaii.

We got the pork slider there and it was SO good.

Just wanted to say one thing before I move on: if you go opening weekend or any Saturday to F&W, don’t be afraid of the long lines. Yes, I know they look ridiculous but they go by REALLY fast. I think the longest line we waited in was Italy or Belgium, and it was only 10-15 minutes MAX. Most of the lines moved quickly and we have had very good luck on Sundays. One day we went and there were like NO lines whatsoever.

And a few more tips:

1. If you are drunk, DO NOT YELL AT THE DISNEY DUCKS. How rude.
2. If you have two people, get ONE item from a booth and split it. We did that and we were full all day. It is not worth it if you get two of the same item from a booth. You will be so full and will not want anything else. So everything you see that we got, we split.

That is all. For now.

We made our way counter clockwise around the world.

They have a lot of Festival booths around the World and they mostly have the same merch as in the Festival Center. But THIS PIN (yes I got it).

Mary Poppins was ready for food too.

Next stop was the country of Florida Local.

Sorry for the bad pic but we got the beef slider and it was REALLY GOOD. One of my fave items.

Then we went to the Chase Lounge which is in the American Adventure. It is really nice up there and they have free soda, which is really awesome.

We continued on into Italy and stopped at their booth.

We got the ravioli and holy CRAP it was GOOD.

September 28th (part 2): An exciting chapter with food, drunkies, falling, and weird children

We went over to Germany next and got in line. It was pretty long, but moved fast.

They ran out of pretzel bread when we were in line but they got more once we got up to order.

I have to say, we were pretty disappointed with what we got. The bratwurst was just not that great and the apple strudel had raisins in it, even though we asked a CM and she said no raisins. Thanks. All in all, the items were not spectacular.

And the gift card system was down. People were up in arms. And by people I mean drunkies.

We then walked through World Showcase and stopped at the refreshment port. We wanted to get the shrimp there but it was a full meal, which was not happening. So we just got the orange dole whip, which was alright. Pineapple and vanilla all the way, yo.

Then we got the frozen s’mores from the country of Desserts and Champagne. It was good, but weird at the same time. It was kinda like thick chocolate milk.

We decided to get the tart in Scotland, since it sounded pretty good.

The theming there was great.

If you love bananas, then you will LOVE this. Us on the other hand, not so much. Everything else in it was great but ugh those bananas. That is all you could taste!

We decided to take a quick break from eating and looked in the Port of Entry.

Like, can they sell this as a print?!

CHRISTMAS STUFF!!!

We decided to go over to Mouse Gear to look around for a few.

I don’t even know.

We wanted more food—duh—so we went back into WS.

Duffy was going to get some food as well.

Welcome to food and wine.

We walked over to Morocco and got some baklava. It was pretty good! I enjoyed it.

We made the loop around again and went to Club Cool and then Wonders of Life because of reasons.

JUST LOOK AT IT.

…and then I almost broke my ankle.

I was walking in and let me tell you, the entrance is all carpet. Yes, I tripped and fell on carpet. #clumsy

I promise I wasn’t drunk.

I was trying to save my camera, which was on my shoulder. So as I fell, I held on to my camera in the air so it wouldn’t hit the ground. But the rest of my body did. I scraped up my knee pretty bad—yes, on carpet—and I had a giant bump on it for days. And I could barely walk.

My camera was all set though.

Anways…

I got two pins in there, the Chip and Dale one and the AP one, which is awesome. It has Lumiere on it.

We made our way out of Wonders of Life because I did not want to get hurt anymore and went back into WS.

And holy drunkies. They were everywhere and it was PACKED.

Of course, this is where we ended up.

We got the waffle with chocolate and whipped cream. I may or may not have licked the cardboard plate thing…

After we ate that heavenly waffle, we looked in the store in France that is attached to the bakery, and we were just browsing and this kid (he was like 8) came running up next to us and picked up a statue of the Eiffel Tower.

Just guess what he did next.

Guess.

Yes, he LICKED it.

And put it back on the shelf.

He was standing like an inch away from us.

Then he just ran off.

I ain’t kidding here.

We decided to head out at that point because I couldn’t stand the drunk people and weird children who like to lick things.

I love you.

We went on Spaceship Earth before we left.

Our heads got so messed up.

Goodbye Chef Mickey!

We took the tram back to the car and then headed home.​

October 5th: In which there is big news, animals, and dole whips

I AM IN FINALLY IN OCTOBER!!!! THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!

Anways…

We got to Animal Kingdom at almost three. Yes, three. And I was going solo for a little bit while Mum went to go do something else at the park, but we will get to that in a little bit.

I was really excited to go solo. I mean, I am always in the park with someone else and I was ready to tour a park just by myself, even if it was just for 45 or so minutes.

I said see you real soon to Mum and I headed into the park.

I browsed around the Oasis for a little bit.

And then I looked around some of the shops in Discovery Island.

CHRISTMAS WAS COMING!

I then went into Dinoland and basically cried my eyes out over the detail.

Then I went over to the Maharajah Jungle Trek.

Oh my god, the detail in this park.

I then made my way over to Africa but the parade was coming through so I just went back to Discovery Island and then Mum called moi.

Stop.

I met up with Mum at the bathroom when you first enter the park and she got changed because her attire was not appropriate for park touring.

She had an interview for a hostess at Yak and Yeti.

Yes, yes, calm down.

She ended up not taking the job a few days after she accepted it because of many reasons, including hours and pay, and it just wasn’t going to work out. But we were thankful that she finally had a job! So technically Mum was a CM for like two days. Technically.

She got another job as a vacation planner for Starwood, who owns Sheraton, the Westin, etc., which is good for now. She starts on Monday. At least it will give her experience for the DVC job she wants…

So yeah. Big news.

Anyways…

After Mum got changed, we headed into Asia and got some drinks and a snack.

We then went into Africa and there was only a ten minute wait for Kilimanjaro so we went on.

Before we left, we met Mickey and Minnie. They were so cute! And idk what is up with my hair.

The park was almost closed so we headed to the car and then over to the TTC.

The ToT 10 miler was on this night and they were setting up props and they were SO COOL! I was dying.

The TTC was packed when we got there. We had to park all the way in Mulan!

We took the monorail over to the Poly and got some dinner at Captain Cooks.

We split the Hawaiian flatbread and it was really good!

And of course we had dole whips.

We looked around the shops by the monorail loading zone.

LIKE I WANT THAT ANTENNA TOPPER.

We took the monorail over to the Contemporary and I did some pin trading, and then we headed home.​
