Multiple tickets questions

I am planning the June 2018 trip for 5: my Husband, our daughter, myself, and my parents. (Dad is retired military) I have purchased a 5-day Military Salute Park Hopper for each of us. We are in the parks for 6 days though, so I have also purchased a single day (non-hopper) ticket for each of us. We need to use the single day tickets first because the first day we do not plan to park hop, then the 5-day hopper ticket next. Here are my questions:

A. Since there seems to be nowhere to SEE with my own eyes that the 1-day ticket will be prioritized to be used first, I am thinking that we should just bring the one-day plastic cards with us to the park that day and scan them at the turnstiles. Then there will be no doubt that we are all in the park on the correct ticket. After that first day, we can all use our magic bands for admittance and they will automatically move on to our 5-day park-hoppers. Sound good?

B. My fast pass selections will be based on the fact that we have Disney resort reservations AND also have valid tickets linked in MDE, 2 valid tickets per person. They won’t need particular FP reservations linked to particular tickets (1-day vs 5-day) right?

C. Our magic bands essentially come “pre-programmed” right? But here is the thing, I am making all of the plans through MDE for everything and everyone. My Mom and Dad have their own Disney resort reservation and will therefore be getting their magic bands separate from us. Will all of the FP plans I make for them (through friends and family) link up to their magic bands?

A) no the plastic tickets will also link back to MDE and will link to all existing tickets. Stop at Guest services and have them prioritize the 1 day ticket.
B) no the fp just know you have tickets they aren’t associated with a specific ticket.
C) as long as the tickets show on MDE and the fp show and the magic bands show on their profiles they will work. Nothing is ON the magic band the band just provides a link back to the MDE profile it is associated with

For peace of mind I would honestly just go to guest services outside the park before you enter and have them prioritize your tickets. Once you connect your tickets to MDE your magicbands and plastic tickets work interchangeably. You could scan your 1 day plastic ticket but because your military ticket is prioritized it pulls a day from that ticket. Some will suggest creating Ticket Saver people to assign the ticket to them while you use the ticket you want. Doing this means you don't have to take a trip to guest services. Whatever you do...do one of these so you don't have the wrong entitlement used!
