We are heading to Disneyland in February. We have 5-day hoppers purchased. We also want to add a 6th day, which will be a 1-day, 1-park ticket. This is what we did last time. We used the 1-day first. Then the 5-day after.

Well, this time the 1-day price varies per day. It looks like this for our dates...
Day 1 - $144
Day 2 - $114
Day 3 - $104
Day 4 - $104
Day 5 - $114
Day 6 - $144

So here's my question......

Can we use our 5-day hoppers on day 1, 2, 4, 5, 6? And then use the 1-day/1-park ticket on Day 3?

We use DAS on use the barcodes on the app on my phone. If the above is possible, will it be difficult to navigate between the hopper and the 1-day tickets each time we need to do a return?

Yes, you can use the 5 day ticket on non consecutive days as long as they are within 14 days of the first use so you should be just fine for that. I don't know how difficult it will be but the one-day ticket will disappear after that day is over so on days 4, 5 and 6 you will only have one ticket in there. I think it will just be a case of making sure you are scanning the correct one but I have not used DAS so can't speak to that for sure.

The DAS is linked to specific tickets. You will have to re apply for the DAS for the day you are using the 1 day ticket.

But yes, you can use the 1 day ticket in the middle of your trip. Multi day tickets do not have to be used on consecutive days.

You could consider putting the 1 day tickets under a different account so that you don't have to worry about finding the right ones to scan, just log in to that account on your 1-day ticket park day.

Last time, we applied for DAS before our trip and they did it for the 5-day and the 1-day tickets at the same time. We were even able to pick advanced ride returns for both.

I thought of that but then I might have to apply for the DAS pass twice which would be a huge pain.

I'm thinking maybe I should use the 1-day ticket on day 2, since it would only be $30 more than using it on day 3 or 4.

I wonder if it would be easiest to just save screenshots of the tickets we need for each day so I'm not having to pull up and scroll through on the app. Then we'd make sure we're scanning the correct ones in each time.
