Multiple ?s- Newbie's 1st trip

Hello all who are wise. I am in need of a few clarifications:

1. Disney's Magical Express (ME)
I put the yellow baggage labels on my bag before I leave home and when the bags show up at MCO then the MCO staff know to put them on the ME shuttle? I don't need to anything other than that? I know I need to pack a back up bag in case it gets lost for a day....

2. ME bus
After I find my Aunt in this massive airport of MCO, and then make my way to the ME bus what is the average trip time from MCO to POP century?

3. Disney Dining
I purchased the meal plan w/ 1 counter service meal & one sit down meal. All ADRs have bveen made but what are some can't miss counter service places to stop- especially in Epcot's the Worlds?

Yep with your luggage It will show up in your room I say 3 to 5 hours after you land. Your right you want to pack a bad with a apporiate wear for the time of day,say you get there In the morining you will want to pack clouthing for the afteroon walking,or at night your PJ's. As far as cs places to eat at EPCOT/world?? thats a good one,matter of fact I posed the same question I can think of san angels cs place, united kingdomes cs Its fish and chips place I know there Is more but I can not think of them sorry

You got it right SeaDD. The San Angel outside service is a great counter spot and a great area to watch Illuminations.
Nothing like the fish & chips too. I would say those are the best two.

I remember the ride to the Pop being about 1/2 hour or so. Kick back and enjoy the free shuttle. It's cozy.

Even though the airport is massive, just follow the signs to (ME) and let Disney do the rest when you get to the lineup for buses. Disney rocks with the (ME). They make it so easy.

Yes put the yellow labels on and proceed to the 1st floor after landing...go to the DME desk and show your DME documents and they will tell you where to go for your bus.

2. ME bus
After I find my Aunt in this massive airport of MCO, and then make my way to the ME bus what is the average trip time from MCO to POP century? It all depends. We were on the bus last year that stopped at pop then CSR then AKL. POP was the first stop. I would say about an hour. But that is completely a guess. That is the time it took us but we got a bus as soon as we landed and did not have to wait.

My fav counter services at Epcot and WS are sunshine seasons and tangeriene cafe. At AK Flame Tree BBQ. At DD Wolfgang Puck's Express. As far as MK and HS I don't really have a fav.

That's what I was going to suggest.

Although the trip to the resort may be 1/2 hour, you may wait awhile until your bus loads with more people, or you may be the last people on the bus and then it leaves immediately. I've had it both ways.

In Epcot, some good WS counter service places are the Tangierine Cafe, Cantina de San Angel, and the Yorkshire County Fish Shop.

Once you check your bags with the Yellow Tags on them at your home airport, you won't see them until they magically arrive in your room anywhere from an hour to five hours after you land.

The Yorkshire County Fish Shop, in Epcot's UK (which others have mentioned) is one of my favorite counter service places in Epcot. IMPORTANT SAFETY TIP: there is an unrefridgerated condiment rack outside the shop with salt, pepper, ketchup, etc. DON'T EAT THE TARTAR SAUCE! After sitting outdoors all day in the central Florida heat, that sauce often spoils - or "goes off" as the Brits say - and can make you sick.

Another great CS location is the Kringla Bakeri og Cafe in Norway. They have some unusual sandwiches that are delicious, and some fabulous baked goods that make a great snack or dessert. I am partial to a Veiled Maiden, which is a chilled cup of alternating layers of sweet apple sauce and whipped cream. It doesn't sound like much, but it tastes great, and it's not a terribly filling dessert.

One of the hidden gems in World Showcase is the Tangerine Cafe in Morocco. THe food is fantastic, and the place is rarely crowded. NOTE: Moroccan food is NOT spicy! Everyone thinks so, but it's not; it's Medditeranean style food, and has many similar ingredients to Greek food (lamb, chicken, beef, etc). Try the schwarma. And my favorite is something called a "beef brewat roll" - it's lean, browned ground beef inside a flaky pastry, sprinkled with powdered sugar. I know, it doesn't sound like a sweet, but it is, and it's delicious.

The Seasons food court in the Land is also a great place to eat. It's indoors, air-conditioned, and has a wide selection of hot and cold foods and drinks. It does tend to get a little crowded because of the proximity to Soarin', so if you want to try it I suggest going early (like 11:30) or late (like 2:00).

Fountainview, next to the Fountain of Nations in Future World, also has some great ice cream products; it makes for another restful and cool break from park touring, and the outdoor tables offer a great view of the Fountain of Nations, which has a musical show every 20 or 30 minutes.

If you're inhibitions are extremely low, since you're on vacation, then stop by the funnel cake stand located in the American Adventure pavilion. But, here's the catch, you have to get a funnel cake with a giant slab of frozen vanilla ice cream on top. Only then does it reach maximum awesomeness potential!

Most of the countries in the WS have a counter service. You can find all of their menus within these boards. I like having a Bratwurst in Germany.

I don't believe they do but heck, bring it along! I don't even know what it is but it sounds delicious.

The funnel cake is pretty ridic too. When I ordered it last time, like three people behind me were all "Oh geez! What is that, butter?! and I'm like "Oh heck no! This be ICE CREAM!!!" The only was like "That must have like 5000 calories!" to which I responded "Hey! I'm on vacation!"

Anyway, moral of the story, it's an amazing snack.
