multiple rooms

Today I was finally able to book a set of rooms for Sat, Jan 15. I did it online and in order to do it online I had to make two ressies: one in my name and one in DH's name. I called CRO to see about putting the ressies together so only one of us would have to check in . She said it couldn't be done but that if I brought DH's ID up to the counter that I could probably check everyone in. What do you think? Anyone else have this experience?

Congratulation in getting your rooms. Seems strange that you could only book it that way, but you got them. I always check us in, no matter if the ressie is in my husband's name or mine. It just doesn't seem to matter to the CM at the resort. They usually want to see that same last name and the address on your ID. What resort did you get into at such a last minute ressie?

Our reservations are usually under my husband's name but they never seem to care if I check in. Can they add your name just in case? I've never booked online so I'm not sure how that works.

Our ressies are for POR. I orginally was trying for POP since this is just a one nighter before the cruise, and with 6 of us we need two rooms. But after reading about all that is going on at the World that weekend I think it will be better to be somewhere a little bit quieter. We will be at POFQ the last part of that week so it will be fun to see both sides of PO.

Thanks for the encouragment, Erika. I will certainly try to check us all in. The CM said: "why wouldn't you both want to check in?" I said..."well, it is easier if one of us can entertain the kids". She says..."oh, can't you take turns?" I silently rolled my eyes and said: we really don't want to wait in line twice. It was not my best on phone Disney interaction
