Multiple Roommates Before Arrival Question!

Hey everyone...I have a quick q for all of u

A couple guys I have met are thinking about rooming together. There are four of us so far...and willing to add more either before we get down there or at check in...How do we go about making sure the four of us get to room together. I know Disney allows u to choose 1 roommate before you get down there. I have noticed there seem to be a lot of people on these boards who have found rooomateS! (notice the plural) before they arrive at check-in, and I was wondering how you guys are making sure you get to live with the roommateS you have already met & chosen!

Has anyone been in this situation before. Were you successful in rooming with who you wanted or did it not work out?

How did you make sure everyone got into the same apt? Arrive the same time for check in possibly...?

Any insight of information any of you have on this would be so helpful! Thanks everyone!

I was in the same situation. Just make sure all 4 of you show up early and stay together. When my roommates and I went up they just had one of us go check in for all of us to save time while we all just waited on the side. We had our hearts set on a 3 bedroom apartment but were told we would have to go with a 4 bedroom if we all wanted to stay together, which I thought was total BS but it turned out to be for the better.

As far as I know you can only guarantee that you will be rooming with one other person. However to increase your chances of rooming with other people, you MUST all arrive in the same time and go into the housing line at the same time, as they fill apartments based on who your next to in line. Earlier in the day is better as that is when the most availability is.

I had found roomies on a facebook group and when we had gone to check in at Vista we had told them we wanted a 2br or 3br and with the 2 girls behind us and the very rude woman said no i'm sorry you just room with the immediate roommate and held our 2 new friends behind and roomed us with the 2 girls in front of us and the 2 behind us so I guess if you are lucky I wouldn't mention it and hope that you get matched in the same apt. In my case it worked out bc we all got along and most of us remained at WDW afterwards and did PIs or Full-Time and we lived together in a townhouse in Kissimmee.

all you need is 1 person from each room at check in together and in line next to eachother. Having 1 from each room will guarantee you have all 4 together provided each room has been linked through the matching thingy

There are four of us. So you are saying that I should commit to room with one of the guys on Disney's roommate matching service thing and then the other two guys should do the same with eachother? We will technically be two groups of two then. If we stand in line next to eachother we should be good? Let me know if I am getting this!
