Multiple memberships linking reservations

If anyone has multiple memberships, or uses multiple memberships, please help me out with this. We pieced together our reservation over several nights, emailed MS to link the reservations, which they did do--they are no longer nightly reservations; they are weekly.

We now have two modified reservations with two reservation numbers. One membership has the beginning of our vacation, the other membership the end of vacation.

Emailed again MS to link the two reservations on our two memberships, and they did reply that they modified the reservation per our request noting everything, names dates, etc. However it still shows different reservation numbers.

Please feel free to share your experiences with me. I'm looking for some input.

I just returned for a 5 night vacation at the BWV. First night made with OKW membership, nights 2 and 3 made with BW membership, nights 4 and 5 made with OKW. I had 3 reservation numbers all linked we were given new keys on days 2 and 4. We did not have to change rooms. I did not do online check in. It took longer than normal to check in at the front desk but being able to stay in the same room was worth it.

With two membership numbers, where first part of the trip is on one and the remainder on the other, MS can link the reservations but you continue to have two reservation numbers. You cannot end up with a single reservation number when using two different membership numbers. You will still have the same room for the entire trip but what you might have to do is a mini check in on the turnover day, getting new room keys, closing out the account on the first part of the trip, and getting a new parking pass if you have a car. Also, you cannot do on-line check in for the entire trip.

We have done this many times. MS has always been able to link the reservations togerher into one seamless stay. We have not had to check in twice, but that could happen if the computer balks at the concept. Regardless, you should be fine.

I would call MS and verify that the two reservations are linked so you will not need to change villas during your stay.

I just looked at the new emailed reservation confirmations MS sent. There are still two numbers, one for the first few dates, other for the remainder dates.

On the bottom of each confirmation reads: Modification: reservation linked to (the reservation #) and vice versa reads on the other reservation confirmation.

I'm just happy that they were able to take all the individual nights and group them into two reservations.
