Multiple Magic Bands: Any problem?

We got a set of Magic Bands with our March visit. We're going back Memorial Day week and I saw we're going to get a 2nd set of MBs shipped to us for that visit. Then I was digging around and saw that we have another set that will be shipped to us as AP holders once we verify our address.

Will we be able to use all 3 sets of MBs interchangeably? Should we just stick with the 1st set that was working during our March visit? Etc.? Bueller? ;) TIA.

You can use them interchangeably. :thumbsup2

Cool-thanks. DW will be glad to know she can get 3 different colors and have fashion choices available to her. ;)

Do you need to do anything special to link them together or are they already linked. We have 2 resort reservations because we added 3 days and didn't want to loose the good rate we got for the first reservation. So we are getting 2 MBs. So will my pink mb linked to the 1st ressie open my room on the 2nd ressie. And will my tickets work for both?

We ended up with several sets because of a split stay last month, and were able to use them all interchangeably the whole time, didn't have to do anything special.

I read somewhere that it said to use them all on your resort door before you used them at the park...don't know if it's true or not because I used all 4 of them on my resort door before we went to the parks. I didn't want to risk it lol. But I used different magic bands almost every day and they worked great!

We used multiple bands last week with no problems even though a CM had said our AP would only work on one set. We brought that set just in case the next day and used different ones to get into the park and used them to charge as well. As long as they are all registered to your MDE you should be fine.

They are all linked to your MyDisneyExperience account. Your reservations and info about reservations (like getting into the room and charging) are linked to that. There's nothing special to be done.

CMs have tried various voodoo tricks, but IMO it's all been glitches that have caused problems. Glitches can't be fixed by voodoo, LOL, so IMO they've been unneccessary. Glitches CAN happen, but I don't think there's anything to do to keep them from happening.

:) It is tempting to do it just in case!

The only thing we did each morning for the first part of our 4-part stay in Jan was to make sure at least one of each of our MBs worked to get us back into the room.
