Multiple Fastpasses??

FPs were created to keep people out of lines and happy. Preferably in park restaurants and shops. Where they spend money. Not much money spent in lines.

There is no express rule that FPs MUST be used within the window.

True, to keep them out of lines but the time was listed for a reason is all I'm trying to say, if they wanted you to return between 9-12 that would be shown on the pass. A specific time is given to return to prevent long lines and is given for a reason. If the times are not to be followed then they should just have printed on them the attraction and Fastpass and no time at all if you aren't going to come with in the window. All I'm saying is sure, they don't have to enforce it but we all know the times are shown for a reason. If you want to arrive 3 hours after the time on you card that is fine and then it is the CM's choice if they want to accept or not accept it.

Yes, that could be the case, my oberservation though was that the lines were longer, it sure could have been somone disabled or another delay that was holding up the line I just know we didn't walk right on to the rides in either case and the lines were longer than normal for the fast pass line.

Yeah, we've seen the same thing. Usually, though, if we ask why the line is long, the CM will tell us something held up the ride itself. The couple of examples I gave you...the line didn't just seem longer, it was longer. Because the line, FP and stand-by, wasn't moving at all due to the ride being stopped for some reason.

The only problem I had was with the CRANKY senior citizen working "Soarin" when I asked for my parent swap. Strollers weren't allowed down the ramp in the building however my child was asleep in the stroller. He stated he had to actually see the child to grant the parent swap pass - I was like you've to got to be kidding

Sounds to me like he was just doing his job as he was instructed to do it. How easy it would be for anyone to go to him and ask for a parent swap whether they actually had children or not.

Good point. When you think about it, it really isn't even necessary to read the official or unoffical policy. The fastpass has a return window printed right on it. That's clear enough for me!

That's how I feel too!

Have a fastpass in my hand now from our last trip, on the back it says:

Please enter the FASTPASS entrance at the attraction between the times noted on the other side.

Cannot accept early arrivals. Valid only on the date printed.

Operating hours of the attraction are subject to change without notice.

Attraction may close temporarily without notice.

Not valid for admission to any theme park. All posted height restrictions apply for each attraction.

Yes, it says clearly that they cannot accept early arrivals. Notice it doesn't say they cannot accept late ones.

No, but it does say enter at the time time noted on the other side.

I see that, however, if they were taking a hard stance about late entry it would say "Cannot accept entry outside of the window". They chose to firmly disallow early entry only.

True, but if people are turned away for not coming back when it says between the times on the front, they shouldn't get upset.

Agreed. I just don't think they're denied often. Still, I agree if they are, they shouldn't be upset.

Can't really be much clearer.

As Rodney would say,

Let's agree to disagree

Of course I'm paraphrasing.

Yes, it could...read a couple of more posts down. lol

honestly, i did not read all of the responses, but come on people. you have to be kidding me. what is the point to using it honestly with all you line cutters out there. is there not at least one place you can go and be honest?

Okay, let's beat the dead horse just one more time . . . it is Disney policy to accept late fastpasses, therefore it is not illegal, immoral, dishonest or cheating Disney to do so.

I wish people would stop saying that this is Disney's policy but failing to provide written evidence from Disney of such a policy. Let's be careful with the language we are using as it's complicating matters. Does Disney often allow people to use FPs after the window of time given on the FP has elapsed? Absolutely. Is it an official policy that CMs must allow people to use FPs after the window of time given on the FP has elapsed? I have seen no evidence of that, just heresay.

I heart PrincessTiffany.

Here's me at a park in the evening, during the summer, using my "expired" FPs with the express consent of WDW CMs: :rockband:
