I'm going with a friend. Can we put separate credit cards for our magic bands in the same room? If we can, can we do it before we leave with online check in?

Yes. However, there are many reports of it not being done correctly. So I would suggest each of you make some purchases on your arrival day and going to the Concierge or Check In desk and ask for a print out of the charges to makes sure they are going to the correct card.

If we can, can we do it before we leave with online check in?

It can only be done once you arrive. Either at the Check In or Concierge Desk.
