MULTIPLE CP's and Age

OT, but funny story about age...when I was 12, I looked 18, but then I kind of 'stuck' there for awhile. I was 8 mos pregnant on my 21st birthday, but intent on going and buying a bottle of wine with my new legal age. I arrived at the checkout, only to be scanned and told the price WITHOUT asking for my ID. I burst into tears (pregnancy hormones and all ;) ) and the clerk was whaaaa :confused3 I said, "You didn't CARD me!" (boo-hoo, boo-hoo). He was all flustered and like, OK, let me see your ID. I said (and I kid you not), "No. Forget it, it's too late." He stood there with his jaw dropped while I basically threw the money at him for the wine, snatched it up, and stomped out of the store. In hindsight it was :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2: but at the time, not so much.

Lmao! Omg I did the exact same thing 2 years ago! I had some crabby old woman and I was " Wow you didnt card me!" . I was soooo upset that I was " that" old now. I dont think she got what I was talking about and just gave me nasty look. I have been in midlife crisis ever since!

I did 3 CPs and was 22 when I finished my last CP. I was looking to go full time and was told it would be no problem. I did my last CP after I graduated with my bachelor's.

I did have a roommate for a week my first CP who was in her 40's. She didn't last in our apartment long. (We were a Wellness Unit for one thing). But that had nothing to do with age, she was kind of psycho. I remember her saying there were at least two other women out of their 20's who were doing CPs as well at that time.

I'm another one of those that looks a lot younger than they are (I think it's a height thing.) Right before my last CP I did a Disney cruise to celebrate my Bachelor's. I was 21 and not a day went by that another guest wouldn't come up to me in the Quiet Cove and ask me if I was old enough to be there (cut off is 18.) I frequently get mistaken for a 12 year old. My dad thinks it's hilarious when we go to movies together and they automatically give me a child's ticket. The worst though was at six flags. My BF is 6'4" and I'm 4'10". I'm older than him by about six months. The photographer with the characters asked if we wanted a father/daughter portrait. Only time my BF has seen me speechless! :rotfl:

THE SAME THING HAPPENS TO ME ALL THE TIME. lol. it is a height thing. i'm 22 and 4'11. and yes i am annoyed whenever this happens to me. i have a sister who's not much taller than me & one time one of my coworkers thought she was my mother. but when i was 10, a lot of people used to mistake for being 20. now it's the total opposite.

The same thing happens to me. I have people think I am younger then I actually am all the time. I don't know if it is height-related (I am about 5'2). But I think it's kinda funny.

I used to hate it and be annoyed by it, but after being a character performer I learned to love my height- it gave me the best job in the World! Most of the time now I am able to take it in stride and even laugh about it. The only time recently that it has been an issue for me is the photographer I mentioned who thought my boyfriend was my father.

I lol'd.

I've gotten that a few times. Most likely because he's a little over a foot taller than me and often scruffy. I feel worse for him than I do for myself in those situations, though. :lmao:
