multiple contracts and banking

If you own points under multiple contracts at the same resort, due to add ons, do the banking rules apply to the total points or do they apply separately to the points from each contract.

Assuming all your contracts are the same number with different extensions/suffixes (eg 12345.01, 12345.02, 12345.03, etc.), then banking rules apply to the total number of points, not each individual contract. They don't even have to be the same resort.

They do have to be the same use year. But if the use year were different, then the contract number would be different also.

Agreed, I own 2 contracts at OKW both resale with different numbers and the banking is separate for each contract. On the other hand, I get 2 once in a lifetime banking exclusions. I also find that having differnt use years is convenient in some ways as I find myself determining which use year to use when I make a reservation or borrow points.
