Why wouldn't Disney give mutlifast passes with their own packages, yet give them through AAA? I booked with Disney thinking I'd get all the little specials, and I don't get the multifast pass!!! We're going the first week of Aug so it will be busy and I really wanted the multifast passes. Does anyone know of any other way to get them?

<font color=navy>AAA is the only agency I know that has the multi-fastpasses this year.

I joined AAA just to get the unlimited FP for my 2 day trip this February. Upon joining I learned that there were ways to save on other things so it seems worth joining! We'll see in a year if the $55 membership is worth it. I whip out my AAA membership card everywhere I go to see if I can get a discount!!!:p

I think $55 would of been worth it for sure when you pay the high prices of DL! I wish I would of asked before I booked!! Next time I'll know.

Hi,
We went in December and booked threw Disney Travel. Our passes were the fastpasses. We loved them. Have they stopped giving them. We met peole who bought threw AAA and were mad because their passes wern't the fastpasses that you could go do lots of rides at once. We had one person take all of our passes and check us in on the other rides. Can't you do this now?
thanks,
Carla

thatmom, I think what your referring to are the regular fastpasses for one ride at a time. Then you have to wait something like 2 hours before you can get another I think. With the multifast passes, you can go get several fastpasses and then go back and start riding. With my package I just got the regular fastpass, which I think everyone can get who buys a Disneyland ticket.

My guess is that it is because there are less who book through AAA VS WDTC.

As for 2003, yes you could get unlimited FP through both AAA and WDTC. This changed for 2004. For 2004, you have to book a package (room & passes) and stay at a Disneyland Hotel and book through AAA to get the unlimited fastpass.

Hi,
No what we had was the multi pass. We could go sign up for lots of rides at once. I think it was call the ultimate pass. It came with our package. We just went from one ride to the next. No waiting at all. Like I said we sent my nephew ahead and he signed us all in. When we got done with one we straight to the next and bypassed the line. We entered the fastpass line. It was great. The AAA pople we met had the kind you are thinking we had. They had to wait and sign up after each ride. They were not happy.

they were not happy because the AAA brochure was very misleading on this subject. And in many cases the person behind the counter didn't even know what was going on. I was told when I bought mine that it did come with the "unlimited" fastpass which was it didn't.

I believe this could be another reason why they are restricting it to onsite packages only for this year.

That is just what they had told us. They didn't get what they were promised.
So if I understand this right, unless you stay in a disney hotel and book threw AAA you can't get them anymore...
thanks,
Thatmom

Yes this is correct. You have to stay at a Disney Hotel and book through AAA to get the unlimited/ultimate FP option.

I specifically asked WDTC and disneychrista is right. Their response was that so many people book through WDTC and that they have a great partnership with AAA, it was the only way to limited to number of "multiple fastpass" tickets and to tie it into staying at a Disney hotel. We had the multiple fastpass tickets in December and loved them!!
