Multi-day v. park hopper?

9 family members headed down in mid-December. We'll be staying for a week, so we've gotten to the point where the extra days on a multi-day pass are super cheap. Here's the question: Instead of adding park-hopper to the tix, should we instead add super cheap extra days? In other words, can we use an extra admission (an extra day of a multi-day pass) to get into a second park on the same day without messing everything up?

Also, for the first time ever, we're staying off-site (Bonnett Creek Wyndham). If we buy our tix through undercover tourist, will we be able to associate them to MagicBands that we purchase through Disney ahead of time.

You cannot do this (use another day to hop), it is literally impossible. Lots of people want it to work, but Disney is on to us.

However, for a multiday ticket the hopper option is a flat fee. So if you think hopping would enhance your trip, you add it, and you can hop the whole trip long.


And yes you can associate UCT tickets to your MDE, and associate purchased-MBs to your MDE, and they will link up and work. I do have to say...MBs are by no means necessary for a decent trip. You can just get normal tickets and associate them to your account and use the tickets to access FP+.

To clarify:

No, you cannot use more than one day's admission on a pass to go to more than one theme park in the same day.

Yes, you can associate a ticket from an authorized reseller to your MDE account.
