Multi-Day Magic Your Way Question

We'll be down at FW/WDW in a couple of months, for 8 days. We know we want to spend at least one full day in FW and maybe another day or two at Universal and the rest in the DW parks. If I purchase 5 day Magic Your Way passes, can I spread out the days? For example, go to WDW parks on days 1, 2, and 3 and then spend a day at FW and the next day at US and then come back and spend days 6 and 7 in WDW?

I guess the short way to ask the question is: do I have to use 5 days in a row on a 5 day pass? I know they expire at some point without the extra option but not sure if they expire after the 5th day after first use...
 
Yes, you can spread out the days. MYW tickets expire 14 days after first use if you don't purchase the non-expiring option.
 
Check into longer passes. The more days you get the less per day. A 7 or 10 day pass is very close to the 5 day price. That way you can go into the parks after other day trips or just for diner. We also get hoppers in case the park of the day is to full
 
Yeah , what pirate-jeff said . 6 Day passes are the same price as a 3 day pass on mousesavers site . Even if you bought an 8 dayer and didnt go in the park or just went in one for an hour or so you wouldnt feel like youve wased money . Its the first 3 days that cost the bucks .
