I will be traveling with a larger group of mostly teenagers, however we will have a 9 yr old girl and a 2 yr old girl in the group. Wondering if anyone has good advice on how to do Universal Studios with this diverse of an age group?

Well I dont have such a large group but I will be with a teen, preteen and DF who will want to hit all the thrill rides and a 7 yr old that will want to but wont be able to ride several of them b/c of his height. I think we will do the child swap for some of them and others I will just take him to ride something else or browse thru a shop while others ride..

That sounds like the way to do it. If someone in the party can't ride, there are plenty of things to do in the meantime. :thumbsup2

We went last summer and the kids ranged in age from 3½ to 16. We split up for a lot of stuff. The older kids are all thrill ride junkies and couldn't wait to get on the big coasters. The not so adventurous of us took the little one over to Suess' Landing. We took turns staying with her in the kiddie areas so everyone was able to ride what they wanted to. In US the older kids did Mummy, Men in Black, etc. while we hung in the kiddie area (actually the 9 y.o had a blast hanging out with us there. There's a big water area and the two youngest had a blast). We all did Shrek, Jimmy Neutron (us chickens in the stationary seats), Twister, ET, the animal show.

We will be going with a group from ages 60-3 so we are basically breaking up into groups that will want to do similar things with adult chaperones for the younger groups and check in times and spots for the older groups. Looks like we have 20-25 going. With that, cell phones and FRG radios we should be able to stay in touch.

I like the idea of cell phones to keep in touch throughout the park. Nice to hear about the water area. Sounds like we need to bring along the swim suits :cool2: .
