Yesterday I caught these guys do their show at Disney-MGM. So I thought I'd take a minute to recommend them to anyone who might be going to MGM.

I'd seen their Christmas show last year but never really taken the time to watch them do their regular one until yesterday. They were really good! Or at least I think so. They rocked and they were funny, especially the lead singer.

If you like rock and roll or just want a good laugh then check 'em out if you get the chance.

I know this is off topic but I just wanted to throw in this picture I took of Expedition Everest in AK from the top of the bleachers at Lights, Motors, Action stunt show in MGM. It's not the best pic, but I thought it was interesting...

We caught them this past January, and we LOVED these guys! They were great fun!!

Also... cool picture of Expedition Everest!!!

We enjoy taking time to watch the street performers at the Studios, & also the various performers throughout the World Showcase at EPCOT.

Heard the last part of one of their shows last week and the 1st part they did sound good but it was just to SWEATY to stand out in the sun and watch them. Hopefully sometime in the future I'll be able to catch a whole show.

I noticed the Power Rangers perform in same area right before they come out so it might be worth goin back there to catch both shows if you got any Power Ranger fans in tow. Wait the Power Rangers was more of a meet and greet thing doing autographs none the less worth your time if you got fans and like good comedy and rock and roll.

saw Mulch Sweat and Shears briefly while going to a Lights Motor Action stunt show just a few wks ago - they sounded great

I also saw them in May, they are neat. Made me late for my FP at the Lights Motor Action show. :confused3 ;)

I got to headbang with these guys back in March! Unfortunately, my DH had wondered off with the camera and left me alone watching them so there is no photographic evidence but still.....

They were a lot of fun! And sadly, they were the only street performers that I was able to catch at MGM! I missed everyone else!

That's why I never actually watched a whole show of theirs too. Sometimes it's just too hot to stand there and watch. Sunday had really nice weather though.

You didn't get to play the cowbell, did you? :rotfl:

Mulch Sweat & Shears????? LOVED THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had the honor (??) of cowbelling with the band twice thus far. I have since found a pretty decent hiding spot so I can catch them and not subject the audience to anymore of my antics!!! Seriously though, they are astounding. Each and every one of the original 5 band members is a first class musician and can play his chosen instrument, possibly one other and sing lead!!! From what I can see You were missing at least the normal lead guitarist. The guy in the pics is one of the subs. Here is a link to some more MSS Pics and maybe a few Off Kilter ones thrown in for good measure!!! There is even one ot two of me cowbelling!!!

We lucked out and were able to catch 2 of their shows. They were really good. They do have a show when the Power Rangers leave from their last Meet and Greet of the day.

I liked your pics, thanks for sharing them. :)

I love these guys. The ROCK!!!

I was headbanging and singing along and the drummer points to me and yells "That Guy Rocks!" :cool1:

My DD who was 3 1/2 at the time was Rockin' out as well and the Bass Player kept playing with her and she would run away everytime he got close but as soon as he moved back she moved right back up.

I can't wait to see the again in December.

Does anyone know if their performance times are on the daily time sheets?

Thanks,
Frank :wizard:

I cannot wait to see them in October :teeth:

Thanks for the info. I've never seen them before, but I love the live musical entertainment at WDW, so I'll be sure to see them in November. Are they fairly new (within the last year or two?) Did any of the guys play in other bands at Disney?

Hey Tiz, I Am glad you liked them!!!
Frank, They are NEVER on the printed schedule. I have a connection that does get me the schedules and I have in turn provided them to Steve Soares who has included it on his website http://pages.prodigy.net/stevesoares/ Click on the Studios and scroll down they are about halfway down the page. Their most current set times are up there as well as a link to some of the pics that I got for Steve. The band is VERY mobile though so make sure to inquire at Guest Relations to be sure they will be where they are listed to play! Isnt the Bass Player just great?? He is such a doll and has remembered me from the previous shows I have seen!!! AMAZING!!!
Hey Simba, The band was created in October of 2004, so they are still relatively new. Disney recently bumped them up to a seven day a week schedule. The regular guys still get two days a week off but they have substitutes filling in for who ever is out on that particular day. The band will never perform with less than two of the original band members on any given day.
Hey OK Great shot of Axe Mulch (guitar) and Sticks Mulch (drums) Incidentally these are two of the original members of the band!!!
Hope this helps!!! Belle

We saw them last month on the way to Lights Action Motorcars, and they were great. Lots of energy and fun! I'd definately go out of my way to see them again. Glad to know they are around every day!
