We went to see her yesterday - she meets inside now. She draws a long line so if you can get there a few minutes early it might save you some waiting time!

Mulan is my daughter's favorite, and the only princess we seek out now that DD is almost 24! Unfortunately Mulan has also been fairly elusive, so we've only met with her maybe 4 times over the years. When DD was about 16, she was the only person waiting to meet Mulan. Mulan took DD inside the China pavilion, walked around the museum with her, and told her some of the history/stories of China. They did this for about 30 minutes. I don't know if nobody else showed up to see Mulan, or if she took her break time to spend with DD, but it was a very special experience for my daughter!

During our trip in January of 2016 we lined up to meet Mulan 15 minutes before her scheduled appearance and we were so glad we did! The attendant came out, counted the line and then closed the line before Mulan was finished meeting the first guest. If we had not been there early we would have missed her for that time slot. However that was meeting her in the Garden, which was lovely. Maybe now that she meets inside she can meet more guests.

Mulan has been my favorite character interaction both times we've gone. I have two boys and she taught them karate moves last time, and swooned over the older one (he was an only then) the first time. I literally pulled him away from her because I felt bad we were holding the line up.

Last time DH and I went, DD Wasn't with us. I told Mulan how much she liked her and she recorded a message for her. Very cool.
We got there right when her first time was and didn't wait long.
I like the meet being inside the building now.

Inside the pagoda thing at China in the World Showcase. I agree with everyone else - get their early because the line gets long. We got there so early we were one of the first ones and there wasn't any real clear indicator of where to go or how to line up, so we kind of wandered around inside for a while. But she's great. My oldest's favorite by far (she's not into princesses and is all about girl power).
