Mui Thai Boxing?

I'm not sure if I spelled this correctly, so I apologize. Does anyone have any information on Mui Thai boxing? DS17 is very interested in trying this and I don't know much (okay, nothing!) about it. I'm not saying he can't do it, but I'd just like to be informed. BTW he is a 3rd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and 2nd degree black belt in Olympic style Tae Kwon Do, so he does have a lot of martial arts training and fighting experience.

Muy Thai is one of the best fighting styles in the world. Its very effective and can be quite brutal as well since it involves alot of strikes with knees an elbows.

I've trained in Mixed-Martial Arts and submission fighting for many years. Muy Thai was a major part of my training.

Since he has alot of fighting experience already, what are your concerns? What do you want to know specifically?
