Most of us come here because of a love for Mickey Mouse and all things Disney. It's a place to leave all our differences behind not solicite confrontation.

Religion is a volatile issue. I wont preach mine and please don't preach yours. If it's so wonderful why are you having such a hard time selling it?

One man's junk is another man's treasure. What is it about the posting of Islamic beliefs that is so upsetting? If this was before 9/11 would you still feel the same way? This person posts behind an alias for a reason and that reason is some of the responses here.

I am a Christian but I find the study of different religions interesting. If you don't want to read it then don't.

Yes I would feel the same way.I would feel the same way if he came here and only posted about Christianity,Judaism,Buddhism,etc.
The point is,that is all this individual posts about on a DISNEY message board,and didn't start posting it until after 9/11.

Well I'm muslim but i still don't agree with the idea of posting about any religion on a disney board. this person has never posted about ANYTHING on this board besides islam. It's a DISNEY board.

If this is just a DISNEY board then I guess we shouldn't post things about cute guys, what we are having for dinner, Survivor and other TV shows, concerts, problems we are having, jokes, threads asking for prayers and PD, etc. Those aren't DISNEY related either.

And as for the OP, maybe the "name" doesn't post anything but this, but perhaps the person behind the name does.

I think that I've written this before, but if the OP would tell us in his own words more about his beliefs it would make more sense to me. When you just copy something it doesn't make it as interesting, or very easy to understand!

no, the Christian music thread doesn't bother me at all because the people who post on that thread have posted about other things as well. they didn't just appear out of thin air and start posting about their religious (or any other) beliefs.

I think the reason you find so much objection to your posts is that you seem to practice a form of hit and run evangelism. You post a few times and then you leave. This doesn't really allow us to get a handle on who you are or what you beleive, and thats a pity. As a Christian, I am very interested in Islam and Judaism since these 3 religions share a common heritage. There are several people here from whom I have learned much about Judaism and I would value greatly being able to gain more insight on Islam.

In short, why don't you stick around for awhile and talk with us? Lets discuss both religious and non religious topics. Let us learn more about your faith by getting to know you. The best way to learn about another faith is to get to know a follower of that faith.

To be honest, your posts right now come off as more of an advertising campain than anything else. If you would really like to share you beleifs with us, come join our community. I think people would be far more open to what you have to say if we didn't only see you here once every few months. I know I would enjoy having a chance to get to know you better.

Sorry but just like wagamama and rmd said, if yasoosa would care to discuss this topic (rather than just preaching) and if he/she would care to discuss other topics, even other religious topics, it might lend some credibilty. In the current stages it does reek of spam to me as well.

Miss Jasmine.....I truly don't think it has anything to do with which religion yasoosa is choosing to preach on. It's that he/she comes with the sole intention of preaching and not participating. If a poster registered and posted spam on how to get rich while working from home......it'd be the same sort of concept. They're choosing NOT to participate in the forum but to preach or push their ideas on you. That to me is Spam.
