Mugs at Resorts

I was wondering if the mugs that you purchase for $12 would be a good deal if you are a water drinker. I know that some places charge you the same for sodas as for water. Do they allow you to get ice water from the soda machine, or do they force you to buy bottled water there?

at any counter service location, you can ask for a cup of ice water and you will get a cup of ice water, for free... though it does taste like florida water, in the heat of the summer, water is water.

You can get ice water anyplace at WDW, at no charge. All of the counter service locations will give it to you (even if it's not on the menu), as well as restaurants and food courts at the resorts.
