Mugs at Leaky Cauldron

Do you know if they have any collectible beer mugs at the Leaky Cauldron? My husband collects beer mugs from all our trips and already has a generic HP mug, but would really like one from the Leaky Cauldron.

I dont know about beer mugs but I know they have new butterbeer mugs only in found in diagon alley at one of the pubs called the fountain of fair fortunes

Yes, it is the souvenir mug. You can also purchase butterbeer in the standard clear flimsy plastic cup.

You can refill them with soda at .99 cents plus tax at almost every permanent beverage counter, quick-service, or full-service restaurants like all the other souvenir cups throughout the parks. But you cannot refill it with Butterbeer, since it's so special. You have to buy an all-new glass.

Of course, that doesn't stop you from buying a Butterbeer in the plastic cup and pouring it into your souvenir mug yourself.

We were able to refill ours but it's more like $3.00 or something... it was back in 2012 so I can't remeber the exact price. I remember it was cheaper than buying a new mug each time.

I wish they'd sell you the mugs without the Butterbeer!!! I bought one in 2011, took one sip - it was disgusting!! Far too sweet and sickly and I ended up heading for the nearest restroom and pouring it down the sink!

The mug came home with us but got dropped and broke a few months later (on the ceramic tiles in my kitchen).

Planning on buying a new one this trip but I think I'll just pay the full price and tell them not to put anything in it.

Theres a nice glass Butterbeer mug for sale in DA at the Wizarding Equipment store (the store that the exit from EFG dumps you to.). It may have been $11.

The cold version, right? That's how I feel about the cold version.

The frozen, however, is very tasty. Except I seem to be insanely susceptible to "brain freeze" all of a sudden, and since I prefer to not cry in themeparks if I can help it, I have had to stop drinking the frozen butterbeer.
