This is a really super-random question… but I need some advice!

Does anybody have any suggestions for how to carry multiple refillable mugs back to our room?

I know this probably sounds like a lame question, but we’ll be staying at CBR (in Trinidad South- pirate room!)… I’m really looking forward to the nice quiet morning walk to go get drinks for everyone (It was always one of my favorite things to do at POR…).

However, now that I’m thinking about it, I’m really not sure how to get those cups back to the room once they’re filled! There will be 6 mugs that I’m bringing with me- any suggestions?

Thanks for answering such a silly question!

I can carry two in each hand....fingers through the handles, two per side. But, usually if I have more than 3 mugs, I just put them all on a tray, and carry them that way. I usually have a pastry or such, so the tray really comes in handy!

CBR has trays available. You can just put them all on there. Good luck.

Is one of your pieces of luggage a rolling dufflebag????

With lids closed tight, you could probably get them all inside and rolled back to your room safely.

I you buy the type that fit into the car cupholder, it can be really difficult to balance muliple mugs on a tray.

Conversely, the large bottom mugs will take up more space on the tray and it will be tough to fit anything else.

I am the breakfast runner, so I have a lot of experience in this area. I buy the cupholder size, I take a fast food drink holder with me in the mornings so I can fit 4 mugs in there and carry a tray of food easily.

Great idea! I am going to have to save one of those from our long drive down. Or do they have them in the hotels?
The last time we stayed at CBR I almost cried when I realized that there was no possible way I could carry 4 cups and push my sons carriage from the farthest building.
This time all of our kids are mobile, but I know I still will be the one getting our breakfast drinks. That drink holder will come in handy.

They don't have them in at the hotels. You can get some from the drive down or if you are flying get some to pack before you leave, they fold flat, so it's no big deal.

They are cardboard, so I always bring a few with me.

I *think* I remember reading on allears that this years mug design only come in the cupholder variety.

When you purchase your mugs, pick up a tray to keep in your room.
I've seen many people (mostly dads:confused3) carrying trays of mugs to their rooms.
