MSPers who have flown Sun Country recently

Well, I am really considering Sun Country for a trip in June 2005. I haven't flown them for about 3 years, just after they became a scheduled airline.

I like supporting competition, but the last 2 times I flew Sun Country, the schedule changed pretty significantly. Once it changed from a non-stop to a stop in Milwaukee. Would have been OK if it was just me and not me and the kids. Then another time, the times changed pretty significantly, really messing up my schedule, but by the time it changed, I couldn't have gotten a decent deal anywhere else.

So my worry is if I buy Sun Country tix, which right now have times I can live with, is that the times will change.

I have stuck with NWA because at least I know if their schedule changes it will literally be by minutes if at all. I like knowing my schedule isn't being messed with.

So those of you who have flown Sun Country recently...did you see the scheduled times change? If so, how much was the change?

Just looking for a little reassurance. Because I'd rather pay a little more for NWA to have the peace of mind that the schedule won't change if Sun Country still plays fast and loose with their schedule.

Thanks.

The last two times I've flown Sun Country (MSP to MCO an LAS) the times were changed, each one by less than 1/2 an hour. Ilove the e-ticket and the curbside check-in, so I'll continue to try them when the price is right. Our next trip is with NWA, it's been years since we've flown from Lindberg, I'll miss the speed and size of HHH.

We had seats on Sun Country for our trip in May. We hit the begining of April and the airline had changed times significantly. So, we decided to go with NWA instead--they had perfect times and were even cheaper.
In the past we've been very happy with Sun Country, although I am not thrilled with their scheduled times and I don't like the fact that they always change their times on us just before the trip.
We tend to save the hassle when we can, and the price difference isn't huge, and just go with another more reliable airline.
Incidentally, the e-tickets for NWA and United are just as easy and hassle free as Sun Country and we still have the added bonus of curbside check in. We don't feel like we're loosing out at all.

I am a big Sun Country supporter.

Our last trip was August 04. We bought tickets about 5 months out and the times were changes to 1/2 hour earlier than original. No big deal.

We are going again in June and have already purchased tickets with them. Their flights (700am depart MSP and 1200ish depart MCO) to Orlando have stayed fairly consistent over at least the past year. I have been watching them.....

I am very comfortable that their times will be close to the same for my June trip.

Hi zulaya!

We flew SunCountry to Denver in July. Flight times didn't change but we bought the tix only about 3-4 weeks in advance.

FYI. Sun Country just raised their prices for June (Tues and Wed Flights) by about $25 each way..... They did this Friday night...
