Interesting article. I've ridden the Twister and the Phoenix. I went to Knoebels the first week the Twister opened.

I do love the rocket like rides (Kingda Ka, El toro and Top Thrill Dragster ) so to me the new coaster at 47 mph is lame. Knoebels park is an expert at recycling old rides from former parks. They aren't the newest(Twister is an exception, that was made there at Knoebels) or the fastest.

Knoebels is an interesting park. I had heard about the flooding and do hope that the park is cleaned up and can reopen. I was going to try to go this summer, but it doesn't look possible.

I've been there a few times. The Phoenix is my absolute favorite wooden coaster!! It's a cool place. I've aslo seen the high water marks from previous floods and it ain't pretty.
