MSEP Viewing and FP for Wishes

Hello! I am wondering where a good place to watch the MSEP would be at 9:00 when I have a FP for Wishes at the Plaza Gardens. I was thinking maybe in front of the castle stage area, but that might be where the FP for the parade is. Any suggestions? I am a curbside person and will sit for a while to have a good spot. My first choice would be Frontierland because, while I don't mind waiting, I don't love being crammed into a spot! I just don't know if I could make it through the crowds from Frontierland to the Plaza Gardens in time. Thank you!!

You will probably be fine watching MSEP from Frontierland and then getting to the Wishes FP area in the Hub. The FP location for MSEP is currently in Town Square at the front of MK. Answers to FP FAQs like yours can be found in the green link in my signature.

If you watch in Frontierland, you'd want to cross over into Adventureland after the parade and make your way back to the Hub's FP+ viewing.
However, if you are near Country Bears, the MSEP won't conclude at that spot until about 9:40PM.
You'd likely not get back to and into the Wishes FP+ area until about 9:55PM.
(The hub area will be a ZOO of guests at this point.)
You will completely miss "Celebrate the Magic," the Castle Projection show that starts at 9:45PM (and is quite spectacular.)
AND, you'd likely not be in the best position inside the Wishes FP+ viewing (as guests there start arriving as early as 8:00PM.)

I think that if you CAN (and don't mind) grabbing and holding a MSEP viewing spot in the Hub
(somewhat near the Wishes FP+ areas) you'd be much better off.
(And, yes, you WILL be in a crush of other guests.)

Doesn't arriving at 8pm for a 9:45 show negate the whole premise of having the FP? Couldn't you just stake out a similarly good spot at 8pm and use the FP for something else?

1. I didn't say that I would do that (and I wouldn't.)
But, I have been keeping up with the many posts here reporting what has actually been happening.

2. That is a very popular methodology, especially since if you do pre-book a Wishes FP+, you can't book a 4th FP+ or 5th FP+ (etc.) at MK the entire day.

What time do you recommend getting there to get a good spot? I couldn't get a FP, but want a good spot for both MSEP and Wishes. I'll be there on a crowd level 5 day.
