Rather than bugging MS to find out whether my add-on points are now in my account, can I just keep checking my account on the DVC website or does MS see them before they actually show up on the website?

I think your online account looks at the same database that MS does, so I don't think MS will see it any earlier than you will see it via the website. And you certainly don't want to try calling MS today, at least not this morning! People are still trying to get through to book AKV.

If your account is posted correctly, your will see your new points the same time that MS does. Give MS a reasonable amount of time to process your add-on and if they don't show give MS Administration a call. :thumbsup2

Our new AKV points showed up in our account way faster than I expected. I do think they show up in both places at the same time.

Where are you planning to book?

Don't know. The 2005 banked points expire Sep. 30 and we really aren't fans of summer WDW heat. So am considering renting out those points. If I don't rent them I would probably go solo and take whatever is available, though it would be fun to try SSR or BCV, which we haven't tried.

I just realized this is a resale contract. I assume it is the same Use Year as your master contract? Is it titled exactly the same way as your master? Even if you do all that, there is still a possibility that MS will set it up as a new master contract rather than an add-on. If I were in your situation, I would call Member Admin to see if they have the paperwork yet and to be sure it gets set up the way you want.

Ah, I didn't realize it was a resale either. I agree with Lisa.

I checked on member website and points showed up in yearly allocation but the banked 2005, current 2006 and coming 2007 points did not show up as "remaining." A very nice MS CM got it all straightened out. I had told the resale company and closing company that I wanted these points to be a part of our current master contract (same use year) and, thank goodness, that part was correct. That means that I have until July 31 to bank the 2006 points and I only need to deal with the 2005 banked points. I was very surprised that the points showed up so fast, just as Lisa predicted!
