MS -unable to get thru

Hi,
Anyone else getting a constant busy signal while trying to reach MS? I tried the 800 # and regular # for about 2hrs now and can't get thru. Trying to make a last minute reservation after finding great air fare but I don't want to book it unless I can get a room.

I can't get through either and we need to cancel our waitlist today since we got Bonnet Creek instead. Grrrrrrr.
 
Today is Member Cruise booking and I believe they started early!!
 
I'm having the same problem. Trying to cancel a waitlist for Christmas since I'm happy with what I've got. With my luck, it will come through now that I don't really want it. I would still be happy, but I'm already mentally planning for what I've got confirmed!!

Same here, except ours is for Thanksgiving and we actually had Bonnet Creek come through for us yesterday. I don't want to end up with a bunch of DVC points in holding if the reservation does come through because I can't get through to cancel it.
 
Today MS is only taking Member Cruise reservations and calls related to arrivals between 11/7 and 11/17.
 
I just e-mailed my request since I could not find any specific link to cancel waitlist online. Don't know if that will work, but I will call Monday to confirm they got my request.
 
Monday (11/9) and Wednesday (11/11) may also be busier than normal. Monday is the first day that every one can book cruises on the Disney Dream and Wednesday is the first day of booking for the 2010 holiday cruises.
 
I got through within a SECOND and was still told that they will not do anything but Member Cruise bookings today. I need to make a cancellation and rebooking and cancel a waitlist. They said I would just have to wait and call tomorrow. No matter what your issue or how soon you got through, they will do nothing for you unless you want to book the member cruise or deal with a reservation within the next 10 days. This is not acceptable and I have told them so.

I agree with you 100%. I was trying all day to get through to change a DECEMBER reservation - only getting a busy signal. When I finally got through, I received the recording to call back tomorrow. :headache: It was a change I could have made yesterday, but it was their closing time and I didn't feel like bothering them with making the change. They never mentioned to me that I wouldn't be able to make any changes on Saturday.
 
yeah, the person I spoke to was not happy that I didn't listen to the recording, but then I never listen to the recording. I got through immediately, with no wait time.
 
The member website says the cruise is sold out!

I just got through to Member Services and cancelled my waitlist. After reading posts that said MS told members to call back tomorrow (Sunday), I realized they were open on Sunday. News to me! Anyway, I got through - took about 5 minutes.

MS is open 9am to 5:30pm eastern time, 7 days a week. They are closed for major US holidays.

Yup! I was going to start a thread about this as it's totally unacceptable to deny ANY member the ability to book during normal business hours. I don't get how they think that is acceptable?
