MS told me I have more points than I think I should...what would you do?

Hello all...so I called MS today to change one day one my reservation and was glad to hear after almost 2 weeks of missing points I was suppose to have the problem was fixed! But when I went to switch up the day MS said I had enough points to just add the two days I wanted without taking one off and still have enough left over for another night! After getting off the phone I ran the math again and again and again and i know they have to be wrong!!!! Even looking on my DVC account page I can see the reservation points add up to more than I have! What should I do? Call them back..point it out and fix the ressie accordingly? Do you think they'll figure it out and call me back at some point to fix it? I'm worried if it takes a while to fix I'll lose availability at the resort I want for the two nights we originally planned and the "honest abe" in me says "call now!" What would you do?

I would call and get it straightened out to my satisfaction.

I would call and have it straightened out to your satisfaction asap.
If they catch it and take upon themselves to fix it you may find additional lost points and be back in the same situation you started in. I would have your notes handy and the web site up (or a print out if not possible to have it readily available while calling) as well to point out the math discrepencies either with the system or if a CM had manually updated your account. Either way it is in your best interest to have this be accurate to avoid future problems.

I know I would call today. I would be worrying that they would find the problem and while trying to fix it I would lose the nights I wanted.

I would call asap as well. You never know if it is wrong and they catch it and don't tell you, that could ruin the vacation having to pay for that day/night or whatever the case may be.

I would call. My luck they would charge me for the points somehow and tell me it's my responsibility to keep track, or borrow them from the future and short me then.

Interesting...MS told me today I had 277 more points than I do. I laughed, I dreamed, and I corrected them.

Thanks for yuor thoughts..I am deffinately going to call and fix the reservation so I know I have the nights I want for sure....but I will wait till next week when the point I need will really be available as supposed to now where it is falsly available! I want to change the reservation the least amount of times I have to so this doesn't happen again! I'll just hope that if for some reason they figure out the discrepancy they will call me and ask which ressie to change!
