MS says VB to open Sept. 26 !

As I have ressies at Vero Beach for October 8-12 I have been watching the boards w/ baited anticipation of when they were going to reopen. Well, today I got too antsy and just called MS to see what they would say and she said that they were officially opening September 26th and that the original date of Sept. 30th was just giving themselves some breathing room in case they couldn't open sooner, but she said they are officially opening on the 26th, so no need to make alternative plans (although I already did make backup plans and won't cancel them until the resort is up and running, just in case, you never know)! I am looking forward to going home on the beach, now if Jeanne will just go away I'd be real happy! Jeff.

May I suggest that we all simultaneously take a deep breath, then blow to the east and move Jeanne out to sea?

But this is the first I have heard about Jeanne!!! Is there ANOTHER hurricane heading towards Florida???

Just a tropical storm right now, but it's tracking toward the eastern coast of Florida.
