MS Question re: special requests

Okay. It's amazing how you get different stories/answers depending on who you speak to in MS! I called today about requesting a certain view for our BCV next week, and this lady I spoke with told me you can only give your requests at check-in! :confused3 Well, I wasn't going to waste my time and tell her that we've been members since 2000 and have always made special requests such as main floor at OKW, pool view, etc. Now, I do know that a request is just that, a request, and by no means guarantees anything.

This particular person I spoke with acted like it was a HUGE bother for her to even answer the phone and ask for my member ID! Now, I understand everyone has bad days but c'mon. On the flip side though, I have to say that over the past week when I've had to deal with MS's, I've had some real great ones!

Has their policy regarding special requests recently changed or was she just plain wrong?
 
Pretty much the same old thing. Different CM's will give you different stories.

This one probably thought that Room Ready meant that advance requests were not necessary. Every CM I've ever talked to though tells me to go ahead and list the requests.

Personally, I'd call back, get a different CM (the odds are in your favor!) and put the requests in. It's toll free and most CM's are very happy to do so.

I don't think there is a change in request procedure or we would hear many people here reporting it. :)
