MS & Magical Express Problems

My sister did not receive her Magical Express luggage tags for the way to AKV, only for the way back the airport from our other hotel (WLV). She even called to check with the transportation company (Mears I think) and they had a record of her arrangements and staying at WLV but not AKV. So I called Member Services (this was a few weeks back) and they said not to worry since the reservations were at 2 different villas, she would be getting 2 separate mailings for the tags. They said everything was set up and the other tags were probably on their way.

Well, we leave in a couple of days and the tags for the trip to AKV have still not arrived and my sister is really nervous about the transportation company having no record of the AKV stay/Magical Express reservation.

When I called MS before they said if the luggage tags didn't arrive we could make our own luggage tags. Anyone done this before & know how this works? Will Mears just let us hop on the bus? :confused3

Has anyone had this happen before, I feel so bad b/c my sister is really worried about everything working out and being stranded with her toddler at the airport.

I've taken ME without the ticket because of last minute change in plans. I did take my luggage on the bus, so I picked it up at the airport. As long as she has her reservation number, it should work out fine.

Call DME at (866) 599-0951 and verify what needs to be done. In the past you could give DME your airline luggage claim checks and they would pull your luggage and route it to your resort. That policy may have been discontinued.
