So I've never even been in the MS building. I might want to brave the MS Green ride this trip. My daughter mentioned the possibility of people coming off MS Orange and getting sick as we exit together. Is this a valid concern?....ie: Does this happen with enough frequency to worry about it?

Yes.
We do splits all the time with some members going green and others orange. Both let out into a large play area with games and benches to occupy those waiting.

I have been on MS many, many times (I love me some Gary Sinese!) I've only seen one person need attention when the ride was over. Just my experience, but I can't imagine that there's a time where people are dropping like flies!! But, the good news is...Green is fine, if that's your preference. Enjoy!!

The video game area is one of the most under appreciated attractions, IMO. You can send an email post card, make an alien video, play games, and be a part of the fuel and repair team. It's a great place to meet up, and try to spend a few minutes playing the games!

There's enough walking distance out of the 2 before the shared exit (game area) that I wouldn't be concerned about anyone hurling around you.

I've been on Mission Space green at least 25 times and have never witnessed anyone getting sick when exiting the ride. This is something you don't have to worry about.

Edited to add: I HAVE, however, seen people get sick in Biergarten and The Plaza. People can get sick anywhere!

And I've seen people get sick right after Star Tours, Tea Cups, and the Carousel...

I have ridden Mission Space Orange many times. I did see one person become ill after exiting the ride but outside, after that sat down to rest.
