MS experiencing difficulty today 1/16/09

I was on hold with MS this morning for 40 minutes starting at 9:00AM and finally after no success I was told they just can't get their system to work. Please call back at 11:00. It is so frustrating. I just wanted to make a reservation and get some things done today. My to do list is so long because we leave for vacation/WDW tomorrow morning. Wondering if anyone else out there spent the morning on hold.

Me too. I was really surprised to get through to MS within 1 minute, no wonder they are all sitting around waiting for the system to come back up (or as they call it "waiting for the update to finish", like anyone does an update during buisness hours) allways amusing

Called at 11:00 and everything seems to be working again. I got my BCV August 16-22 reservation for a 2 bedroom. I was a little nervous making this one with the new system, but did manage a dedicated 1q reservation which is perfect for us for our group size. My backup was AKV, but with a 15 yo grandson, he likes the BCV because he finds more kids his own age there. Whew, I'm done.

I called at 9am this morning and had no problem at all getting through or making reservations. I was able to get exactly what I wanted at exactly the 7 month mark, switching from our home our resort (OKW) without any issue what so ever. We got a 2BRV + Studio at AKV, Jambo House, Savannah View for 8/16 - 8/22.

Sending you all some pixie dust in hopes you get (got) what you wanted...

I got through at 9:05am after calling twice. The CM had to put me on hold for a couple of minutes after I gave her my membership number b/c she said the system was running very slow, but I was able to book during that call.

I called exactly at 9 and got through right away I had to cancel VWL and try to get AKV-no luck Ended up getting BWV MS was able to make my transaction, but there was trouble with getting my confirmatin numbers to come up, so I was on hold for awhile.

You must have gotten the last 2br, I called for one for June 17-18 thirty minutes after you and there were none avialable, thanks for the info though at least I know I am at the top of the waitlist.

That's exactly how mine started out. She got as far as the booking, then said "oh no" (which is never good) and put me on hold. 40 minutes later, she said things went down and to call back. (I did call back, just to make sure it wasn't "operator error" and was told the same thing). Glad it worked out, but I sure was nervous. I better go check to make sure I did get my reservation, and others who made them early today, should check too.

Well, I got through at the crack of 9am EST. It took quite a while to get it done because the system was running slow. My CM was more impatient with it than I was!

But we got it booked... then I had to turn around and call back several hours later and cancel and rebook (long story why).
