MS Edge Punch Enabling!!!

My Michaels had 2 of the Martha Stewart edge punches on the clearance aisle. They were marked with a clearance tag of $4.79, but they rang up at $1.59!!!!!!!

The 2 that my store had was the cupcakes one and the trefoil heart.

I may have to venture to my Michaels. My MIL is coming for dinner for her birthday. I haven't gotten her anything yet. I know I am getting her a joanns gift card, but I wanted to get something from the kids also. She loves the edge punches.

Are they with the other punches or is there a seperate clearance aisle for Michaels? I never seem to find deals like this but maybe I'm not looking in the right place. I usually go in and just beeline it for the scrapbooking department and never go anywhere else in the store.

Also, the internet store A Cherry on Top is having buy 2 MS punches, get one free through March 31.

We went by our local Mike's today at the end of a very long scrap shopping day (I'll fess up later, if Z2H and other MA DIS folks do ) and I got lucky enough to find the ONE embossed trefoil heart edge punch in the store. It was just hanging in the middle of all the other zillions of MS punches. It is marked $15.99, but I went over to the "beeper" and it scanned at $1.59!

Believe me, I searched high and low for a cupcake one, too, but alas...! But thanks again, otherwise I wouldn't have even searched.

Pam, I'm so glad you found one!!!!! I, too, want to hear about all the other scrappy stuff you bought yesterday!!!!

Scrapgirl, my M's had them in a separate area where they have clearance stuff, but PinballFamily found them in with the other punches. So, I guess it just depends on the store!

I can't get ANY deals like that here - and if I got them online I'd be paying $20 for the postage, so it wouldn't be that good a deal.

Went yesterday and couldn't find anything at the store. Ended going to Joanns for my MIL and got her a punch that was clearance for 4.97. it was a border, but circle one and a giftcard for her to support her paper habit.

It was right there with the MS spring punches - the bunny ears, lady bugs, the flowery and iron gate edge/corner ones... I scanned it to be sure - expecting to see $1.59, but it was .01.

So, don't give up...there still might be some lurking around your Mike's...

It was supposed to be thrown away- that is what the .01 means. They just didn't get it off the shelf.

That's right. Once it's at .01 the store is supposed to get it off the shelves and not sell it. But, if they still have it on the shelf, then you get it for that price and the cashier is supposed to notify the sales floor staff to go remove the rest.

PBF, way to go on getting it for $.01!!! I thought $1.57 was really good, but yours was an even better bargain!!
