MS comes thru ADR

Called Member Services at DVC yesterday to add California Grill for xmas night to our adr's. Thought it was too late, but tried anyway. He was checking availability and asked again how many were in party and I told him 5 adults. Silence for a moment and then he said "you are going to have to read between the lines here" then he proceeded to say"you have the 5 adults and one infant with a booster seat, right?" I said "oh yes..thanks" and he then made the reservation gave me the confirmation number and then said "if the infant isn't able to make the dinner and has to stay with a sitter, you don't need to notify anyone until you reach check-in podium and just let them know. It will be no problem". Love this guy! Glad to get the adr!

Honestly, I'm not sure I would post about this on here... I wouldn't want Disney to read too many stories like this and decide they need to crack down on the CMs!

Maybe the restaurants get cancellations. I was told by a non MS CM, that well, we don't have anything for 9 people, (I was calling to add 2 more to a party of 7) but if you show up with your 9, they could just add an extra seat to your ressies, you have a table top for 8 right now. Now, either DH or I will excuse ourselves from the party if we have to, but yes, we were told not to read anything into this as well.

The phone CM are trying to be helpful, and the the restaurant CM's will be the ones dealing with it. As I said, if it doesn't "work" I will give up the meal at LTT.
