MS and non-Disney resorts

Can I call MS to make ressies at another Disney resort and pay cash? I wanted to get 3 nights in June at POR or another moderate and I don't want to use our points. Can I get a cash discount from MS there or is the cash discount only for DVC resorts? Also, if I can do this, if and when the AP discounts come out, can I apply it to a ressie I made thru MS? TIA

No, you would to call CRO. MS does not make reservations for non-DVC WDW resorts (except for points). There are no DVC discounts for non-DVC resorts.

Actually, MS can book cash reservations now for Walt Disney World resorts that are not Disney Vacation Club home properties.
