Our final day had arrived :sad2: , l hate these days. After packing up, checking the apartment and double checking, we packed the car up and headed to Mall at Millenia. I'd saved some cash to get my i-pod Nano :thumbsup2 and browsed the other shops. We'd decided to have an early lunch and thought we'd give the Cheesecake Factory a try but as they dont offer a childs menu we decided to head to hhhmmm Golden Corral for one last pog out lol :rotfl: It was as yummy as ever and would tied us over until the plane!

After lunch we took a slow trip to the airport and returned the car with ease. I'm sure last year we got lost trying to find the Dollar return place lol DH has a fight with a trolley, as even tho he's paid the $3 it doesnt want to come off the railing . He manages to get one free and we load up the trolley and head for check-in. DH had mentioned about upgrading on the way home, so as we check-in l ask if its possible. I'm informed yes it is but its £199 per person so l look over at DH with those girly eyes (you know the ones l mean, girls) and he says yes :cheer2: Woah we are going home PE, yippee!!!! We leave the luggage and head for the shops, as the youngest DS still has some dollars left. They are quickly spent lol so we go through security with no problem and get a coffee. The Alpha duty-free shop was a big disappointment as its being refurbished and has hardly any stock, but l manage to get a few things. At this time we have about an hour to wait til boarding so we go to the gate and wait.

When we board the plane we find out seats but mine has what looks like sick on it (ewww gross) so l inform the air hostess. She says she will contact a cleaner but he takes an absolute age to come, all this time l'm having to stand. In the end she cleans it herself with some wet warm towels but then the seat is wet, l asked her if i could swop a seat pad with another spare one but she informs me that all the seats are booked. She covers the wet patch with a few napkins and i sit down but end up with a big wet patch on my bum  !! Eventually the cleaner arrives and changes the seat cover for a new one and all is well again! The flight home was great, very smooth and comfortable! l could get used to PE for defo!! Both DS's manage to sleep this time and have to be woken as we approach Manchester. The landing is smooth and we are off the plane in no time at all, heading for the luggage caraousel. Our bags are some of the first off and straight through customs with no problem! I rang our car-park service and wait at the bus stop, we are soon back at the depot picking up the car for our 90minute drive home. We arrive home to a mountain of mail and no food in the cupboard lol but its nice to be home even so.

What a brillant trip we've had, l wouldnt change a thing. SSR was just as good as i'd expected and confirmed that we did the right thing when purchasing our DVC contract. l hope you've all enjoyed by trippies and got some helpful info from them :goodvibes

Really enjoyed reading about your adventures Rachel, thanks for sharing :teeth:

Rachel,
Thanks for entertaining me during lunch the past two days. Your reports are full of joy. What a perfect souvenir of a wonderful vacation and one that will give your family the chance to relive the fun years into the future.
I love your family portraits. Your husband--what a fireman! Very impressive, carrying both boys with one arm. By the way, I think he might have been pressed into service if you'd stayed a little longer. Have you seen how much of Florida has been consumed by wildfires in the past few days?

Thanks SusanEllen. We did watch the covering news regarding the wildfires, they were very scary and as we took off home from Orlando International you could see the plumes of smoke coming from the ground! I know he'd love to work as a :firefight in the US, hence the many visits to firestations, l think he was hoping for an offer :cloud9:
