We always have to sit in the back of the pooh pot so i dont miss it...(got a picture as well) but also must go on record and state i dont believe he handed over the deed that easily..i'm sure it had something to do with a new motor car....

Either that or that tombstone in the Haunted Mansion's pet cemetary. ;)

I really miss that ride. I know that Pooh basically follows the same path, but it's just not the same. It feels slower.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was one of my favorites as a child! I really miss it! What makes it even worse is that I don't like Pooh and all! It's just salt in the wound! :sad2:

I loved the ride as a child but now I'd rather keep fond memories of it than try to compare it to the new rides with better technology everytime I go.

For all of you Mr Toad fans (I LOVED this attraction) I found a video of the ride complete witth sound on Youtube the other night. For some reason I cant post the link but if you do a search for Walt Disney World on the Youtube web-site it will come up.

I loved Toad. Where else could you go to hell while in WDW? But ... I voted "NO". If there is room for an attraction, I would rather see a new one not a retread.

FWIW, you can still go to hell if you go to Disneyland. Pooh took over Country Bears there instead. I find it interesting that the lines are always pretty short for Pooh in DL. I think it's because the attraction is not in Fanstasyland with the rest of the kiddie rides.

Mr. Toads Wild Ride is probably my favorite Fantasyland dark ride of all time. I really wish they would bring it back, and was sorry to see it replaced. The reason Disneyland can accommodate both attractions as posted earlier, is because Pooh replaced the Country Bear Jamboree there.

I never knew it was gone or that there is a new ride. S othe new ride is some Poh ride?? Well I must say I never thought Mr Toads ride wasthat great. Kind of cheesey if I remember right. I do love Pohh, so I cna't wait to check that one out.

As for 200o leagues under the sea...What ever happened to it???? About 9 or ten years ago, I read it was beign re-done and then never heard anything else. The last ime Iwas there you could even see the stuff under the water if you looked. That was about 7 or 8 years ago. It was the first Disney ride I ever rode as a kid and I remmber being really scared and confused and my mom re assured me and then I thought it wascool, but wouldn't ride it again! Now as an adult, I would love too.
So I do see the nastolgia of what people have for Mr Toads wild ride!

Even though you can still ride it at Disneyland I voted yes because Magic Kingdom needs more Cartoon based Dark Rides. Disneyland greatly outnumbers Magic Kingdom:

Disneyland Cartoon Dark Rides:
1. Pooh
2.) Mr.Toad
3.) Snow White
4.) Peter Pan
5.) Pinoccio
6.) Alice in Wonderland

Magic Kingdom:
1.) Pooh
2.) Snow White
3.) Peter Pan

Thats 6 to 3 Magic Kingdom has some catching up to do ::yes::

I can't wait to go to DL specifically for these three rides. I've never been to Disneyland before, Alice in Wonderland is my favorite animated movie of all time.

Or maybe Pooh threatened to have him "bounced out" by a certain orange someone :rotfl:
