Mr. Toads WIld Ride

Can some one tell me about Mr. Toads Ride. Lots of details please and compare to other rides. Is it like Pooh and Snow white rides or diffrent any hills. What is the train wreck like? thanks

Mr Toad is really cool (wish they had not taken it out at WDW)... It does not have any hills, it is a ride like Snow White meets Winnie the Pooh at WDW, you have the ride vehicle that follows a track on flat ground, going through the scenes. The train wreck is a REALLY cool affect. The ride path is bumpy like you are on train tracks, it is dark and the headlight comes on (as if you are heading straight into the train), they have audio of the train whistle blowing at you and as you go past the headlight you enter into Hell, the temperature change is drastic, it gets really hot, very fun affect. We LOVE Mr Toad...

I do like Pooh and Peter Pan better, but it ranks number 3 for me in terms of Disneyland dark rides.

But it was my favorite as a kid. The train seemed so real. I think I loved it so much that I was disappointed in it as an adult. It just did not live up to my memory.

Now I can't get my preschool girls to ride it. My 5-year-old will ride Tower of Terror and BTMRR, but will not step foot on Mr Toads, POTC or HM. Go figure.

Who's kids go on this ride? Mine say "no way" even though they are 6 and 9 and have never been on it. Too scary!

Is it really that scary? I've probably been on it years ago but I don't remember a thing.

Also, what about Snow white? Too scary? Another one they also refuse to go on. They don't like villains so anything that has a witch is out. But they are missing a lot of rides because of the scariness factor.

Opinions, please.

Scary? Getting hit by a train and ending up in hell? What's scary about that? I love it too!
