I'm so bummed, I should have just ordered this earlier this evening, I saw it there available, and I went back to order it just now, and now it's GONE! Why oh why do they have to do this? What happens to the rest of the inventory that they didn't sell?

I sure wish they wouldn't do things like this. I guess I snoozed, and I losed. My husband loves that ride because its the one ride he remembers his dad riding with him when they were little.

It was a limited release and only available until September 7th. Disneystore does this with all the attraction t-shirts.

There have been limited editions on The Disney Store for short periods : Dumbo was one of the recent ones too. It appears they take orders then print them as they typically take 4-6 weeks for delivery in the small print. Might have to check Ebay.

DisneyStore.com has been doing this with a lot of their Limited Release T-Shirts lately. They're only available for 5 or so days. It says allow 6-8 weeks for shipping, so my guess is that they get the orders, then place the orders with the manufacturer so that they don't have extra inventory.

I doubt it would work, but you might call the DisneyStore.com ASAP and see if there is anything they can do because the sale ended at 11:59 pm on Sunday night, so you just missed it. They probably can't add any orders at this point, but it's worth asking if you want the shirt badly enough.
