Mr Toads Wild Race

I saw this in the PN. Has anyone done this? Can you tell me about it? I did not see the "Micky 200" which we have done in the past. Is it no longer offered?

Someone else can probably describe it better but teams "pull" toads along and try to get them to the finish line first. The challenge is that the way the toads are constructed you kind of have to jerk the string to get them to jump and if you jerk too hard they flip over on their back. It's done in one end of the atrium so folks can watch from the balcony .

Kind of funny and silly but the folks participating and watching had lots of fun.

Mr. Toad's Wild Race is held in the main lobby in front of Lumieres. When Catherine participated there were about 20 people who signed up.

The races are done in heats, each heat has 4 participants. The idea is to try to pull on a thin rope that is threaded through your toad. By pulling and letting go the toad should hop towards you (with any luck). The first to get their toad across the finish line wins.

The winner of each heat goes on to play against the other winners in the final round. It is a lot of fun and usually draws a big crowd.
