Hi All,

With the Dream now launched, the Wonder formally repositioned and construction on the Fantasy well underway I was thinking it might be time to start collecting wild rumors about the upcoming Alaska cruises. This is meant to be fun so the wilder and more ridiculous the better.

OK I'll start... I heard that they are replacing the fireworks display and the Pirate party with a top deck snowball fight and Minnie's Dog Sled Races. They will also be serving traditional Eskimo foods in place of the turkey legs.

What have YOU heard?

This does sound like fun. Here are my additions to the agenda:
They have renamed the formal night to dress like a penquin night,
One of the excursions is a fish for your dinner theme where you fish for wild salmon and bring your catch back to the ship and they prepare it for your dinner that night,
Even the spa has set up igloos for the couples massages.

I also heard that instead of announcing your name when they welcome you aboard they will be having the crew rub noses with you. They just did a casting call for folks with a schnozzola to rival Jimmy Durante's

The word I got from Donald Duck during the last family WDW trip is that on one of next summers Alaska criuses they will have a polar bear.....drinking coke as he rides the aguaduck!

Donald said he was avoiding that ciurse cause polar bears like duck meat!

I heard during the muster drills they'll make sure everyone is paying attention by occasionally having a crew member point out and yell "Iceberg- right ahead!" For added excitement they'll throw out random pieces of flotsam on the deck. Instead of having a Jack Sparrow look-a-like, they'll have a Jack (from Titanic) and whoever succeeds from kicking him off the obviously large enough piece of wood and making it seem like there's just NO WAY there's room enough wins the competition and gets a free drink-of-the day.

I also predict someone will fuss because while they were on their AK cruise DCL didn't bother to tell them about the bull fight, er, I mean whale harpooning excursion they could have gone on!!!

Instead of the traditional character line up; there will be penguins, whales, eagles and eskimos....
