Mr. Potato Head

I haven't been there yet, but what I understand is they are similar to the Mr. Potato head pieces. I even heard that there are princess dresses & Tinkerbell wings for the ponies. If you want, I'm going later this month. I can post what I saw when I get back. Sbella

The my little pony pieces are harder to get in the box. There are different colored skirts and hats to signify the princesses. But, MLP has large plastic mirrors, teacups, popcorn carts, vanity tables, picnic baskets, etc... that are very hard to get in the box. If you aren't trying to fit a pony in the box with the other stuff, it might be easier. I bought 2 potato head and 1 MLP when we went in September, and the potato heads were a much better value. My DH and I had a great time working the potato head pieces into the boxes- a CM even helped us maximize our space. I was kind of disappointed in the MLP- there was a lot more that I would have liked to get, but couldn't fit in the box.

I do not know why, but I am so excited about getting these Mr. Potato Head Parts when I go in May. I even printed up the list DarthMickey posted, THANK YOU! I just got the Darth Tater's and Spud Trooper's I ordered from Hasbro, for myself and my son (his will be a Valentine's Day Gift.) I can't wait, I am trying to figure out a way to convince my son that we need to be at Downtown Disney first thing we do lol! "No honey, not a ride, there are Mr. Potato Heads parts to aquire!"

The My Little Pony is also available in Mickey's Toontown in MK. I believe they were a little cheaper than the Mr. Potato Head boxes ($14-16?), but the boxes are smaller. Basically all they had were brushes and some outfits for the horses, I personally liked the Mr. Potato Heads better. I took a Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head with me that I bought at Wal-Mart and played dress up after purchasing parts. Here's a pic of the Potato Heads in my room window at POP. The Mrs. is holding the Tinkerbell wand and the Mr. has on the Mickey shoes with the Mickey balloon.

My dad helped me stuff everything I could into the box. Too bad though that I didn't wait for DTD.

Make sure you get the arms at Disney. The regular Mr. Potato Head arms will not hold the Disney items. We found out the hard way. :(

Here is another hint when filling your boxes. Fill all the spaces! Small objects (eyes, gloves etc) can fit into the hats etc. Put some big and then fill spaces around with small.

I am a teacher and as a surprise for "my kids" I was filling one box of pcs for the taters we have in the classroom (it turned into 2 boxes). They were so excited for them and forgave me for going to WDW for christmas without them!
