Looks like I will need 2 more boxes...

I bought the MPH here at Walmart at $6 so to not have to waste space in the box with the huge potato...

I wanted one for my desk at work but alas didn't spend the money. I'm getting one next time. My kids already have a potatoe head and I'm stealing him. They don't play with him anyways. I want so many of the pieces. Oh how to decide. :rotfl:

So my next question is - which of you expert packers is going to meet me at the store to pack my boxes for me :rotfl: Guess I'll have to brush up on my space saving techniques! Thanks for the tips everyone!

LOL, I guess I have to take Dh with me when I go shopping. He can pack the dishwasher much better than me. :rotfl2:

So I think I have talked DH into letting me get 4 boxes   I really think I'll be able to get evrything I want into these. Esp. if you (oogieboogie) got that much into one box. There really isn't that much for the other 3 boxes. But the stuff left is HUGE huh??

I think that you can do it! I got 3 boxes last time and ended up with almost 70 pieces. I was missing a could of bigger ones though. I think that I can easily finish up the list with 2 more boxes and you're leaving off some of the bigger things.

yeah... 4 boxes would be great because the hats and shoes are really clunky pieces. It's hard to fit a lot of hats in one box.

I wish they sold the pieces seperately. It doesn't seem like you get as much of a value if you need the larger pieces.

I also bought a set of Pirates of the Caribbean Potato Head parts, but it was prepackaged in a small box for $6.00. I don't know if they have it at Once Upon a Toy - I got mine in the Pirates shop in the MK, but I also saw it at the shop across from the Studio Catering Company in MGM.

Yes they have the Pirates box at OUoT, including a cowboy set, holidays set, astronaut & alien set, dumbo ride base, yellow poncho, and surfer & beach spuds set. Darth Tater is also there.

The most complete set is at Once Upon a Toy. They have every part there, including some baby spud sets.

I thought I read somewhere that at Once Upon a Toy you could buy the pieces for $2 each?? Do they still let you do this?? Maybe I'll buy a few of the bigger pieces with my spending money (not much for just me) as DH is getting me the 4 boxes for my birthday :cheer2: :cheer2: This is making me soooo happy and I don't even have the parts yet. Thanks all for your help. :goodvibes

Are the Fourth Release parts available in the New York Disney Store as well? That's where our next trip will be and I would like to get the new parts.

What a great thread! I am adding this to my list of things to do!

I will pack the kids two "naked" MPH's, leave them at the hotel then load up with all the bits and they'll love it! Thanks OP!

I don't know but if not we may be able to work outta trade as I want some of the NY pieces that I can't get in Disney.

BBGirl- I had read that too, however, I asked last week while we were there and they said no.

Wow they changed that fast. At Our Laughing Place they had all the parts listed for 3.50 each yesterday. Today no more pieces just sets. I guess they were told the same thing. Did they have any of the NY items(read hats)??
Thanks
