First and foremost CONGRATS on the new addition of the beautiful baby and on a beautiful house. Sounds like you have been busy. I appologize for the impatience. I think I am just a TAD tooooo excited about our first
Disney Cruise. I understand that life is crazy. Trust me I know. I work 60+- hours a week. I take care of my house and family along with taking care of my mom and her house. She is legally blind and she is doing well with my help. I owe her my life since she raised me so well.
I will talk to my family and see if the would mind an open house. This will be our first suite. Our last cruise we had 2 staterooms with a veranda because we had 6 people. But since we only have five this time (lost my dad) we put our money together so we can be in the same room. My mom loves to cruise. This will be her first Disney Cruise. I honestly don't think she cares where we go as long as she can hang out and enjoy being out of her house.

No worries, please don't apologize. I wasn't trying to sound fussy, I just wanted to reiterate it for everyone because I had originally said it somewhere in the middle of our board and I don't know if people have been reading the whole thing or not. Thanks for the congrats - we're super excited about both events in our life! It's been a tough and crazy 9 years. The fact that it's all coming together at the same time is somewhat overwhelming, but it's also GREAT!
I'm sorry to hear about your mom. Is she the grandmother that's joining you? If so, will she have a dog with her? On our last sailing we had 2 families with blind parents so there were 3 dogs in our group!! It was kind of cool. They let all of the kids meet and pet the dogs, and then we included the dogs on the FE exchange, it was great! Well, the people turned out to be crabby people you didn't want to be around so we didn't talk to them after the meet and greet, but still, it was nice.
No worries on the suite - I just thought I'd ask. I haven't looked up your room number on the map so I'm not sure what type of suite you have. Is it the Walt Disney suite, or a smaller suite?

Just curious
Congrats on your new home!!!
Would you like me to take over with FE? I know you are super busy and we all appreciate what you have done so far
Thanks!
You are more than welcome to do any planning and arrangements for the board and the FE, but I have to keep the list going because it's under my post. You can't edit my post without logging into my account. You'll see that I gave a cut-off date and stuff, but that's all I did. You can still arrange a meet and greet on the ship, a way for people to find out any changes in cabin numbers for those who are "courtesy upgraded" at the pier or newly assigned TBA's at the pier, etc. We have no "logo", no cruise group name, no bracelets, and no meetings set up, and those have been typical in past boards we've done. Honestly though - I don't know if it's worth it for this group. This is probably the least active group we've ever been involved with. There are only 9 cabins participating in the FE (my last sailing there was about 40) and there definitely aren't enough cabins and people to justify buying bracelets. A logo and group name would still be good for those wanting to utilize those for personalized FE gifts, but again, I don't want to be the one to arrange it. If you'd like to take over arranging those things, that would be great!

LOL, scary prospect, huh?

Again, I don't mean to be a buzz kill, I'm really a great and happy person. For this particular sailing though I don't really want to use as much energy "preparing" as I have in the past. For that reason we aren't really invested in what the group activities are. Like I said, this group hasn't been very active anyway.
With that said - ONLY 4 MONTHS TO GO!!
